Game Designers' Guild

A monthly meeting for the Syracuse community for anyone interested in Game Design. It is hosted by Scott Nicholson (scott@scottnicholson.com) and sponsored by the iSchool at Syracuse .

There is a discussion list for the Guild as well.   Discussions about the guild should use the hashtag #syrgdg.

If you are working on a project for the Guild, please use the Workshop.  Visitors can come by to see what is going on.

April's meeting is coming up on April 26

On April 26, we will be joined by guest game designer and gaming librarian, Brian Mayer.  He has created recreational games with serious themes, and will be talking about the process of bringing together concepts such as the underground railroad into a recreational game.

We'll be in Hinds 011, starting at 5:30.  The formal presentation will be from 6pm-7pm, and then playtime happens after that!
