Be the Dinosaur

For the Liverpool Public Library, I led the Game Designers' Guild in the brainstorming to come up with a live-action game where kids got to take on the role of a dinosaur. The library had the idea to make a large Candy Land game, and we helped them to create something that was interactive and enabled the creativity of the participants.

Kids first had to do research about what kind of dinosaur they wanted to be, and then were transformed by creating a tail and getting their faces painted.   They then traveled through a time tunnel to go back in time and engage in activities such as hunting for eggs, working together to cross a swamp, and working with prehistoric plant life.
